Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
CT Tech – Radiology travel assignment in Templeton, California, United States. Start date: 04/13/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,069–$2,147 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 4x10’s evenings (Noon–22:30 Sun–Wed) with some on-call 22:30–04:00. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital environment. This is a travel position under a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders, including prep, positioning, and image acquisition with attention to patient safety and comfort.
- Operate CT equipment and related fluoroscopy as needed, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images with optimized radiation dose.
- Administer or supervise contrast media as trained, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and manage IV access and related safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure timely completion of imaging studies; document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Maintain strict infection control, sanitize equipment between patients, and verify patient identity and exam details prior to imaging.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required by the shift schedule and department needs.
Requirements
- CT experience with fluoroscopy and IV certifications; able to perform CT scans and related procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred; ARRT certification: RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT(R)(ARRT) required.
- Licensure: Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice; CA license required.
- Certification: Advanced CT Certification required in OR and HI; CA preferred.
- Life Support: Basic Life Support (BLS) required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or RQI BLS).
- Additional CT qualifications: Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment preferred (CA and OR); Venipuncture certification preferred (CA and OR).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced radiology department, including on-call responsibilities and the listed schedule.
