This travel assignment requires a skilled RRT to provide medically necessary respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients, including document and billing responsibilities, in a high‑acuity setting with nursing and therapy teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Provide basic and critical respiratory care services to adult and geriatric patients as ordered by the physician and per department policies.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ respiratory status; adjust therapy as clinically indicated.
- Administer prescribed treatments and therapies (e.g., ventilator management, inhalation therapies, airway clearance techniques) and perform related procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient; ensure timely and compliant documentation.
- Collaborate with the care team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists; supervise assigned personnel as delegated.
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, calibrated, and functioning; respond to code events and participate in resuscitation as needed.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required; NRP required; PALS required; ACLS required; PEARS preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent field experience preferred; strong neonatal and pediatric experience with EKGs and ABGs is desirable
- Licensure and work eligibility: Current licensure in the state of assignment; ability to work in the listed setting
- Additional: Vaccination may be required as a condition of employment; organization participates in E-Verify
