Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Zanesville, OH. Start date: 09/21/2026 (alternative start 10/19/2026 for eligible Genesis travelers). Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,831–$1,952 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 3x12-hour shifts with every third weekend required. The assignment centers on the Respiratory unit (COVID care) with potential float to other Med-Surg units; no on-call requirement. Epic EMR proficiency is required. Active Ohio RN license and BLS certification are required. Minimum 3 years Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; ability to read Telemetry; competency will be tested on day one. Note: the contract may allow cancellation up to 36 hours across the 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult patients on respiratory and Med-Surg units
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, recognize changes, and escalate as needed
- Administer medications and therapies, manage IVs, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team to develop and adjust care plans
- Perform accurate patient assessments and maintain up-to-date care plans
- Document in Epic EMR accurately and in a timely manner; ensure compliance with standards

Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license
- BLS certification
- 3+ years Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Ability to read Telemetry and pass day-one competency assessment
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation page
