Responsibilities
- perform ultrasound imaging studies with a focus on vascular and obstetric exams
- operate, optimize, and troubleshoot major ultrasound equipment; ensure diagnostic-quality images
- document findings and communicate results to radiologists and the patient-care team
- adhere to patient safety standards, infection control practices, and privacy regulations
- demonstrate professional communication, teamwork, and reliable on-call readiness as required
Requirements
- ARDMS registration and current BLS certification
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography
- Minimum of one year radiologic/imaging experience
- Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography; vascular and obstetric experience preferred
- Proficiency with major ultrasound equipment; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- English-language reading and communication skills; ability to work under deadline pressure and in a fast-paced setting
