Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment findings, and develop and implement a plan to achieve outcomes.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, promote a safe and healing environment, and evaluate progress.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide education and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately, assign duties, and support ongoing professional learning for patients, families, and team members.

Requirements
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license: Active and in-state practice required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor (per policy)
- Facility-specific certification: BLS certification from an approved vendor (per policy)
- Department-specific certifications: AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS (required)
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the clinical field
- Ability to work in a travel assignment setting
