Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ED patients across non-critical to emergent conditions, including mental health presentations.
- Perform triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and patient status.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and other treatments as ordered; initiate and participate in resuscitation efforts per protocol.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status; respond to acute changes with ACLS-compliant interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and ancillary staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital policies.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required for Emergency RN role.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
- Ability to work Nights on a 3x12 schedule in a high-volume ED setting.
