Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to ER patients in a fast-paced environment per established standards of care and nursing processes.
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, and identify care priorities; implement interventions and adjust plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders; ensure accurate documentation and medication safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of other nursing staff, assigning tasks appropriately and delegating as indicated.
- Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care; promote a safe and healing environment.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; CA license preferred; CPR/BLS is required; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS required.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience.
- Specialization: ER experience in a high-acuity setting preferred.
- Other: Ability to work the listed shift (nights) and adapt to a fast-paced, team-based ER environment.
