Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care travel assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,494-$1,557 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM). This travel opportunity takes place in a hospital-type setting on LTC units (VAU/TCU/ECN) and AR, with unit-specific ratios and no blocked scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult residents on LTC, AR, VAU, TCU and ECN units within the assigned setting
- Administer medications and IV therapies per provider orders; maintain IV access and monitor responses
- Document care, vitals, and assessments in Sunrise charting accurately and timely
- Monitor patient status, support activities of daily living, wound care, and safety measures; respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and the care team; communicate effectively about patient needs and plan of care
- Adhere to unit policies and safety standards; participate in weekend scheduling requirements and other contract-specific expectations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent LPN experience
- IV therapy experience required
- Ventilator experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Sunrise charting or ability to learn Sunrise efficiently
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift and to function in LTC AR/VAU/TCU/ECN unit environments
- Willingness to comply with unit-specific policies, including weekend requirements and travel-contract guidelines
