Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 6-week assignment with a rotating 4x10 shift schedule. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care as a circulating and scrub RN, supporting the surgical team across diverse cases.
- Prepare and manage OR equipment and supplies, maintain sterile technique, and assist with patient positioning and intraoperative monitoring.
- Work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to ensure patient safety, efficiency, and optimal outcomes during procedures.
- Operate and assist with advanced OR technology, including Da Vinci robotics as applicable, and manage intraoperative documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to anticipate needs, manage urgent events, and adapt to a rotating Day/Evening schedule.
Requirements
- Active RN license on file at time of submission.
- BLS certification.
- Prior travel experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of OR unit experience.
- Large trauma Level 1 experience.
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
- Ability to circulate and scrub; must have both skills checklists in packet.
- Availability to start within the next week; willingness to work weekends and be flexible with a rotating Day/Evening schedule (10-hour shifts).
