In this role, you’ll deliver essential long-term care nursing to residents, supporting daily activities, comfort, and safety while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, person-centered plans. Your core responsibilities include assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments per state regulations, monitoring vital signs, managing wound and skin care, assisting with activities of daily living, and participating in care planning and family communications. You’ll document care accurately in electronic health records, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly with appropriate escalation. You’ll engage with residents to preserve dignity, encourage social engagement, and reinforce fall prevention, infection control, and safety protocols.
