Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Administers medications and treatments per physician orders; monitors patient conditions; documents care and maintains patient safety.
- Provides patient and family education and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Ability to work nights, 12-hour shifts, in a hospital setting
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
