Responsibilities
- Provide direct, advanced patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU under established protocols and physician orders.
- Serve as Nurse Lead on day shift, coordinating clinical activities, prioritizing patient care, and guiding other nurses and support staff.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans; participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs and labs, titrate medications and therapies as appropriate, and escalate concerns promptly.
- Ensure accurate, complete documentation in the electronic medical record; maintain compliance with unit policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Facilitate clear communication during handoffs and with family members, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Active RN license required.
- Five years of ICU technical experience strongly preferred; supervisor/lead experience required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC required.
- Ability to work in an ICU setting within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital environment.
- Must be able to fulfill a day-shift leadership role and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
