Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments and document responses
- Monitor vital signs, assess symptoms, and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Provide routine nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Perform wound care and other standard treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and MARs; ensure safety and infection control practices
- Collaborate with the supervising licensed nurse and interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Maine
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to resident safety and quality care
