Responsibilities
- Provide interim supervisory support to the Birthing Center Manager during the assignment.
- Ensure continuity of operations, staff competency, and compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support daily operations and patient care delivery in collaboration with the Birthing Center Manager.
- Implement and reinforce established policies, clinical protocols, and procedures across the birthing center.
- Deliver staff education, orientation support, and competency validation as needed.
- Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; serve as a clinical and operational resource to staff and leadership during the assignment.
- Participate in nursing rotation to maintain hands-on clinical engagement and assist with patient care as needed.

Requirements
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current Colorado Registered Nurse licensure (active).
- Certification: Current BLS certification.
- Specialty credentials: AWHONN intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM instructor certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of Obstetrics Nursing and Neonatal experience; prior leadership experience preferred.
- Ability: Demonstrated ability to operate OB/Neonatal clinical equipment, supervise staff within a fast-paced obstetric setting, and function effectively in a birthing center environment.
