Responsibilities
- Provide on-site nursing leadership and supervision for patient care teams during the night shift
- Monitor and adjust staffing levels to ensure safe, efficient patient care and workflow
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and department leaders to coordinate patient flow and bed assignments
- Oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with policies, patient safety standards, and accurate documentation
- Serve as a liaison with patients, families, and staff to address concerns and resolve conflicts
- Participate in incident reporting and quality improvement activities as part of the night shift leadership
Requirements
- Current WA Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 4 years of recent clinical nursing experience; 1 year of nursing leadership experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively with diverse staff and patients
- Willingness to work a 3x12 night shift on a travel assignment in the Aberdeen area
