Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document findings and outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines, communicating effectively with physicians, technicians, and support staff.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion in clinical decision-making.
- Ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Oregon
- Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment with a focus on endoscopy care
- Experience in or knowledge of endoscopy/GI procedures is preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Availability to work days on a 4x10 schedule (40 hours per week)
