Weekly pay: $1,788 per week to $1,871 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12 schedule)
Work setting: hospital environment; Med Surg/Telemetry patients
This travel assignment requires an active Ohio RN license (or Compact RN) and provides a 13-week commitment in a hospital setting with a nightly shift pattern and every-other-weekend scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned Med Surg/Telemetry patients, using age-specific criteria.
- Monitor patients on telemetry, interpret heart rhythms, and intervene as needed; escalate changes to the care team.
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications (including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) per orders; document responses and adverse effects.
- Collaborate with non-RN staff (LPN/PCT, Unit Secretaries) to coordinate care and provide guidance and education as appropriate.
- Recognize signs and symptoms of stroke or neurologic change; respond per protocol and communicate changes to the team.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure patient safety, and support smooth care transitions within the unit.
Requirements
- Active Ohio or Compact RN license (Nursys verification) required.
- 2+ years of RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry (travel experience preferred).
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Competence in telemetry, rhythm interpretation, and medication titration; ability to identify and respond to patient status changes.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work night shifts and an every-other-weekend schedule.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting; reliable attendance and on-time shift reporting.
