Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Bakersfield, California. Start date: April 27, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,457–$2,555 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion to support patient needs and safety.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes; maintain accurate records in accordance with policy.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and provide education and support to patients and families as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to work nights and participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Comfort working in a home healthcare – hospice setting
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
