Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in Clearlake, CA for a travel temporary assignment at a Critical Access Hospital. Start date: 08/31/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,030–$2,041 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights (1800–0630). This position focuses on emergency and acute care nursing with possible ICU float, within a hospital setting that requires strong assessment and rapid response capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to ED and, when needed, ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely escalation of changes in condition
- Perform triage, administer medications, establish IV access, and manage patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and appropriate disposition
- Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and compliance with policies
- Support procedures, assist with emergencies, and participate in performance improvement initiatives

Requirements
- Current California RN license (active)
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- At least one year of RN experience within the last 24 months with acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or EMT/ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience and in good standing
- MICN is desired within one year of hire; MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended
- Immunizations required as a condition of employment; exemptions may apply
- Ability to work night shifts and potential floating to ICU or other units as needed
- Eligible for E-Verify and right-to-work verification per policy
