Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Specialty: LPN in a skilled nursing setting. Start date 03/02/2026 for a 16-week contract with guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents per the plan of care and facility policies
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and MARs
- Monitor residents’ condition, perform frequent vital signs checks, and report changes promptly
- Document assessments, interventions, and progress notes in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure quality resident outcomes
- Maintain infection control practices, safety protocols, and appropriate patient transfers or discharges as needed
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; state licensure for New Mexico preferred
- Relevant experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift and meet 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a local travel assignment and comply with facility policies
