Responsibilities
- Provide direct geriatric nursing care, including assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and care planning.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition; document findings and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders; ensure accurate charting.
- Implement care plans, safety protocols, fall prevention, and infection control measures.
- Communicate with residents and families; provide comfort measures and advocacy as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and coordinate with healthcare team for smooth transitions of care.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license
- Minimum 12 months of recent RN experience
- Geriatric/long-term care experience preferred
- Within 100 miles of the assignment location
- Credentials due: 10/10/26 or ASAP; orientation is provided
- Weekend requirements: Every other weekend
