Travel Registered Nurse Supervisor Job
Registered Nurse – Supervisor position for a travel temporary assignment in a short term acute care hospital setting in Geneva, NY. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 22-26 week contract with night shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $2,320 to $2,358 per week. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. This role combines clinical leadership with hands-on patient care and runs through the holiday season.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff in planning, organizing, evaluating and delivering patient care across age groups.
- Coordinate clinical activities across the unit during evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
- Monitor staffing levels based on patient acuity and adjust deployment in line with policies; collaborate with Nursing Leadership to address staffing challenges and regulatory readiness.
- Support nurses in managing emergency clinical and administrative situations per established policies and protocols.
- Facilitate competency assessment and staff development on shifts and weekends; mentor and role-model professional nursing practice.
- Participate in Nursing Leadership committees and collaborative problem-solving groups to improve patient care delivery and practice standards.
Requirements
- Active NYS RN licensure
- 2+ years Med/Surgical RN experience
- 1+ year Critical Care experience
- 1 year supervisory/clinical lead experience (more than a charge nurse)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA); NIHSS; CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays in an acute care setting
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage bed-flow and patient placement as part of a clinical leadership role
