Ultrasound Technologist, Radiology – travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date: 05/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,993 to $2,107 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: Rotating. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across abdominal, gynecologic, obstetric, neonatal, vascular, and superficial structures, documenting normal and pathologic findings.
- Abdomen: assess aorta, IVC, liver/biliary system, pancreas, spleen, and kidneys with attention to normal and pathological conditions.
- Gynecologic: evaluate breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, and pelvis; document both normal and pathologic states, including post-menopausal and pediatric considerations; transvaginal procedures as indicated.
- Obstetric: scan across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters; assist with amniocentesis, monitor complications, biophysical profile, gestational age, placental grading, abnormalities, IGUR, and uterus/adnexa.
- Neonatal: image congenital anomalies and neonatal head as required.
- Superficial structures: evaluate abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum/testes, and thyroid.
- Vascular: perform carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, and upper/lower extremity venous and arterial duplex as indicated.
- Procedures: perform aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative ultrasound support as appropriate.
- Equipment and systems: work with Canon i700, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS; maintain accuracy and thorough documentation.
- Team duties: adhere to safety, infection control, patient privacy, and department policies; may float to other units/departments as assigned.

Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification in AB, OB, and RVT.
- BLS certification (AHA).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Proficiency in abdomen, gynecologic, obstetric, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular ultrasound as described.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and to float to other units as needed.
- Familiarity with Canon i700 ultrasound equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred.
