Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging with and without contrast, plus CT angiography and brain perfusion as needed; utilize multiplanar reconstruction for diagnostic evaluation
- Conduct general radiography exams (X-ray) and ensure accurate patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
- Assist with X-ray procedures in addition to CT under supervision as part of the radiology team
- Prepare, administer, and manage contrast media with adherence to safety protocols; operate PACS for image storage and review
- Collaborate with radiology staff, lift teams, rapid response, and transportation services to support patient care and procedure flow
- Maintain equipment, verify patient information in Epic, and ensure proper documentation of studies and protocols
Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification
- ARRT(R) (Radiography) certification
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient and/or outpatient CT/X-ray experience
- Recent hands-on X-ray experience required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Ability to work in a radiology environment with CT and X-ray procedures
- Vehicle required for travel assignment
- Commitment to holiday coverage as specified and to compliance with site requirements
- Pre-start modules (approximately 16 hours non-billable; >20 hours requires approval)
- References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Holidays: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
