Responsibilities
- Conduct PT evaluations and document functional status for residents in a skilled nursing setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address mobility, strength, balance, and activities of daily living.
- Deliver evidence-based therapies, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and functional tasks.
- Reassess progress regularly and adjust goals and interventions to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, physicians, other therapists) to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Ability to work a full-time, travel assignment and commit to a 13-week term.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Ability to function effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document clearly and concisely.
