Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures, including coronary CT angiography, and provide imaging guidance for procedures such as biopsies and abscess drains
- Support pre-Watchman protocols and ablation-related imaging as part of the exam workflow
- Ensure high-quality images while adhering to CT protocols and radiation safety practices; monitor for and manage contrast reactions
- Properly position patients, prepare equipment, administer contrast per policy, and document procedures in the patient record
- Collaborate with radiologists and the broader care team to optimize throughput in a high-volume CT lab
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance; communicate findings and any concerns to the interpreting radiologist
Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting with a high-volume workflow
