Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process and established standards
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Develop and adjust care plans, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Implement therapies, administer medications, and document care and outcomes accurately
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge needs
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate transitions of care to support continuity
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum two years of recent experience in the field; acute care/telemetry experience preferred
- EPIC electronic health record (EHR) experience required
- Education: BSN preferred; associates with relevant clinical experience considered
- Ability to work night shift in an inpatient telemetry setting
