Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date: 05/04/2026 for a 13-week contract. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay rate of $2,284 to $2,428 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights in a hospital ED setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment; local candidates within 75 miles may qualify for the local rate. Valid through 08/01/2026.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ED nursing care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and rapid response to acute changes
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor patient responses, and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff to deliver timely, evidence-based care and ensure patient safety
- Document care and interventions accurately in the EMR (EPIC) and communicate patient status during handoffs
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Licensure: Active NY Registered Nurse license with Nursys verification; must hold all valid RN licenses as applicable
- Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC; TNCC must be in-hand at submission
- Experience: 2+ years of ED experience; some pediatric exposure strongly preferred; travel experience required
- EMR: EPIC EMR experience required
- Education: Graduation from an approved nursing program; current NYRN licensure
- Other: Local candidates within 75 miles may be eligible for the local rate; drivers license with address that matches demographics; RTO (return-to-ownership) must be included at time of submission
