Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including medication administration under physician orders and nurse direction
- Monitor vital signs, assess condition changes, and document findings in the chart
- Administer prescribed medications, perform basic wound care, and coordinate treatments per facility protocol
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote safety, comfort, and well-being
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update care plans; supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs as appropriate within scope of practice
Requirements
- Ability to perform 12-hour shifts in a long-term care setting
- Availability to begin on 08/03/2026 and commit to a 7-week assignment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adhere to patient safety standards
