Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
RN - Long Term Care in Carlisle, Pennsylvania is a travel - temporary assignment beginning 04/06/2026 for several weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with day and evening shifts. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor resident status, document vital signs, changes in condition, and respond to deviations promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care and smooth shift handoffs
- Maintain clinical standards, infection control practices, and patient safety protocols
- Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge needs as appropriate
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Eligibility to practice as an RN in the United States
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric care is preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work a 40-hour guaranteed schedule across day/evening shifts
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and comply with relevant facility policies
