Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group using the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document in the electronic health record system.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, reassess progress, and provide discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote a safe, healing environment and provide patient education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS certification required; CPR acceptable if from a recognized provider
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- EPIC experience required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Education and Certifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: RN license in California; BLS or CPR; ACLS; PALS; NIH Stroke Scale
