Responsibilities
- Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment.
- Administers medical substances for imaging or other procedures as prescribed.
- Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
- Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality control.
- Documents procedures and supports radiation safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Current California license to practice Nuclear Medicine Technology (or eligibility as required by state regulations)
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine (e.g., ARRT Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent per state regulations
- Associate degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Relevant clinical experience in nuclear medicine procedures; hospital/clinical setting preferred
- Ability to work in a busy hospital travel environment and a dayshift schedule
