Licensed Practical Nurse — Long-Term Care travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. Start date 07/01/2026 for 16 weeks, with weekly pay of $835-$879 and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents under supervision, administering medications and treatments per plan of care
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in condition, and document findings; escalate to the supervising RN or physician as needed
- Assist with activities of daily living and support mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and personal care
- Perform routine nursing procedures including wound care, dressing changes, and management of chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation; ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate resident needs
Requirements
- Current New Mexico Licensed Practical Nurse license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of licensed practical nurse experience; long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a long-term care setting; may participate in weekend rotation as required
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient advocacy skills
- Must be able to perform duties in a long-term care environment in compliance with relevant regulations
