Registered Nurse – Infusion | Rochester, NY | Travel - Temporary Assignment

Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions as part of the infusion service line
- Deliver direct patient care, coordinate treatment plans, and provide patient education to Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients
- Monitor patients during infusion and telemetry, recognize and respond to adverse events, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan care, manage schedules, and document in the electronic health record
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding treatment expectations, side effects, and post-infusion care
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety policies, and unit protocols; demonstrate independent critical thinking and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- Active RN license (New York)
- Hematology/Oncology experience required (2+ years; acute care setting)
- Oncology Certification (ONC) required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience
- Recent acute care experience
- Ability to work in an outpatient infusion and cellular therapy environment
Education
- RN licensure in New York; no additional education requirements specified beyond professional licensure and applicable certifications
