Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay to $2,357 per week with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department for a patient mix including newborns through geriatrics; perform initial triage, rapid assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, fluids, and treatments per ED protocols; initiate and monitor changes in patient condition; manage lines, drains, and rapid interventions as required
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans; participate in patient handoffs and discharge planning
- Document care, assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the EPIC EMR; ensure accurate and compliant charting and timely updates
- Support patient and family education, comfort measures, and safety practices; assist with flow, admissions, and transfers as needs arise
Requirements
- Active NY RN license with NURSYS verification
- Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC must be in hand)
- 2+ years ED experience; pediatrics experience preferred; travel experience required
- EPIC EMR experience
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
