Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting per care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility and safe transfers using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
- Observe residents, monitor for changes, and promptly report to supervising licensed staff; document care provided
- Assist with meals and feeding as directed; maintain hygiene, safety, and infection control during all activities
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New Hampshire
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
- Availability to work 3x12-hour night shifts on a rotating two-week schedule (Week I: Sun, Tue, Wed; Week II: Mon, Tue, Sat)
- Ability to follow care plans and document care accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; respect for resident dignity and privacy
