Overview
Registered Nurse, Oncology position in a travel assignment located in Ukiah, California. Start date: 10/19/2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for outpatient oncology patients according to the nursing process, including data collection, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses and care needs; develop and implement care plans to achieve outcomes.
- Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and other disciplines.
- Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for procedures; assist physicians with minor procedures as directed.
- Provide health information and education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment with attention to infection control and safety standards.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
- BSN degree preferred
- 2–3 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- ONC/ONCC-CHIM certification
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification or eligibility
- EPIC experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
