Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Specialty: Ultrasound. Start date: 10/05/2026. Weekly pay range: $2,143-$2,247 per week. Shift: Rotating. Setting: hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment facilitated by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. No time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across abdomen (Aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, kidneys) with assessment of both normal and pathological findings.
- Conduct gynecologic imaging including breast, ovaries/adnexa, uterus, and pelvis; evaluate normal and abnormal pathology; transvaginal imaging as applicable; include adult and pediatric patients.
- Execute obstetric imaging across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters; assist with amniocentesis, assess complications, biophysical profile, gestational age, placental grading, and identify abnormalities.
- Assist with interventional procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, and drainage; participate in intraoperative imaging as needed.
- Image neonatal patients for congenital anomalies and neonatal head assessments.
- Scan superficial structures (abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum/testes, thyroid) and perform vascular studies (carotid duplex, segmental pressures, upper and lower extremity venous/arterial duplex); coordinate findings with care teams.
- Operate equipment including Canon i700; document findings in Meditech EMR; review and interpret images in Fuji Synapse PACS; may float to other units as required.

Requirements
- ARDMS certifications in AB, OB, and RVT (active)
- Active BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of sonography experience in an acute hospital setting (full-time)
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and electronic medical record systems (Canon i700; Meditech EMR; Fuji Synapse PACS)
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in rotating shifts; willingness to float to other units/departments as needed
