Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – Interventional Radiology specialty, Everett, WA, start 09/14/2026, 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,806 to $2,955 per week. Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks. Shift: 4x10 days (days). This assignment involves work in a Level II Trauma Center hospital with IR, OR, and radiology procedures, and requires on-call coverage.

Responsibilities
- Assist and scrub for interventional radiology procedures in the IR suite and related radiology spaces, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic angiography and interventions (e.g., cerebral angiography and stroke interventions; non-cardiac body angiography with Y-90 and chemoembolization).
- Prepare, scrub, and assist with procedures; operate imaging equipment (C-arm, CT) and necessary IR room systems; maintain sterile technique and patient safety; manage contrast administration and nephroprotection as required.
- Perform or assist with additional IR procedures as appropriate, including biopsies (fluoro/CT/US), venous access (ports, dialysis catheters, central lines), gastrostomy, biliary and nephrostomy placements, and abscess drains; preferred experience with cryo/thermal ablations and kyphoplasty.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; document in the electronic charting system (EPIC); support accurate and timely charting and room turnover.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 2 Interventional Radiologists, 1 Neuro Interventionalist, 1–2 Vascular Surgeons, and 1 PA/NP; participate in on-call coverage as required (5–7 days per month).
Requirements
- Active WA state license in hand at submission; compact license accepted.
- ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years IR/Angio experience; first-time travelers accepted if they meet the 2-year requirement.
- References: 2 required within the last 3 years.
- Holiday commitment: must be willing to work 3 of the 5 holidays listed (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
- Ability to work in a hospital IR environment and fulfill the travel assignment requirements.
