Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele (MS/Telemetry) in Saint Louis, Missouri. Start date 06/01/2026 for a minimum 13-week travel assignment. Night shift on a 3x12 schedule. Weekly pay range: $2,033–$2,238 per week. 36 hours guaranteed for the 3x12 rotation. Work setting involves an acute care hospital unit caring for adult patients on neurology, orthopedics, and general med/surg telemetry.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on a MS/Telemetry unit, including orthopedic post-op, neurology, stroke/CVA, and general med/surg diagnoses
- Monitor telemetry on-unit and via remote monitoring; promptly respond to telemetry alerts
- IV starts and maintenance; PICC line management as needed; PCA administration
- Assess patient status, implement care plans, administer medications, and participate in discharge planning
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols; maintain infection control practices
- Document in the electronic charting system (EPIC); collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure patient safety and smooth transitions of care
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN license or valid compact license; out-of-state candidates must have MO license or a compact license that matches permanent residence
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) and NIHSS required; ACLS to be obtained by compliance deadline
- Experience: 2+ years preferred; first-time travel nurses accepted
- Telemetry/monitoring and Med/Surg/Neuro-Ortho care experience; ability to float to other units as needed (excluding ICU, SDU, and ED)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- EPIC experience preferred; onboarding labs completed within 48–72 hours of signing
