Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, including modalities, manual techniques, and common exercise techniques.
- Instruct and guide patients through functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation plans; monitor patient progress and adjust as needed.
- Document patient status and communicate with supervising PT to coordinate care.
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills as appropriate.
- Work with minimal supervision and uphold professional standards of care in the home health setting.
Requirements
- Current physical therapist license in Oregon (active and in good standing)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program
- Relevant clinical experience; home health experience preferred
- Ability to perform duties in a home health setting and participate in a travel assignment
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Eligible to participate in a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/30/2026
