Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Carlinville, Illinois. This 13-week assignment starts on 06/28/2026 with a weekly pay range of $2,070 to $2,086 and no guaranteed hours. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:45 pm–7:15 am) with weekend and holiday rotation, in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct emergency nursing care for patients presenting with a wide range of acuity levels
- Perform initial triage, comprehensive assessment, continuous monitoring, and timely escalation of care
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures per physician orders and ER protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and support staff to coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record; maintain clear handoffs at shift change
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and patient advocacy; participate in discharge planning and patient education
Requirements
- Active RN license; current licensure as required for the assignment
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotation
- Demonstrated ability to follow documentation and billing procedures as required by the assignment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity ER environment
