Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel assignment in a long-term care setting. Start date: 04/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,398-$2,468 per week. Guaranteed hours: 38 per week. Shift: 5x8 days, with typical hours 08:00–16:30. Employer: Healthforce Healthcare LLC. This position is a temporary travel assignment in a long-term care environment. A $2,000 quick-start bonus is available.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of residents to determine PT needs and goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on mobility, balance, strength, ROM, and functional activities
- Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and progressive resistance programs
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans of care in accordance with regulatory and facility policies
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home program expectations
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, OT, SLP, physicians) to support comprehensive resident care
- Ensure patient safety, proper documentation, and compliance with infection control and privacy standards
Requirements
- Ability to work in a long-term care / nursing home setting
- Travel/temporary assignment willingness and ability to commit to a 38-hour weekly schedule
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligible to work in the United States
