Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines while using critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, update care plans, administer prescribed medications and therapies, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and facility policies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care and smooth transition planning for discharge or transfer.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Telemetry or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and maintain a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Eligible for travel assignment and able to start on or around 10/12/2026
