Registered Nurse – ICU in Utica, New York. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,305-$2,366 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Night shift (2x3 schedule), typically 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., in a hospital ICU setting. ICU unit care includes Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma patients, with unit-specific equipment and acuity requiring advanced critical care skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based critical care nursing to adult ICU patients including neuro, CV surgery, trauma, and post-operative populations.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamics, ventilator settings, telemetry, and laboratory data; respond promptly to changes per clinical protocols.
- Manage specialty equipment such as CRRT (Prismaflex or NxStage), IABP as applicable, ventriculostomy and ICP monitoring devices.
- Administer medications, including vasoactive infusions, and perform complex nursing interventions within ACLS/BLS guidelines.
- Document care in EPIC EMR; participate in rounds, handoffs, and interdisciplinary communication to optimize patient outcomes.
- Float to related units as needed and maintain competency and patient safety across care areas.
Requirements
- Active NY registered nursing license; Nursys license verification with all active RN licenses.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS; NIHSS required.
- ICU experience: 2+ years required; 4–5 years preferred.
- Travel experience required; documented travel history preferred.
- EMR experience required: EPIC.
- Up-to-date resume detailing ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU experience; include travel assignments.
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics.
- RTO (reason for travel or time off) must be included at time of submission.
- CRRT and Prismaflex experience required or strongly preferred; heart experience is highly preferred.
