Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including rapid triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed; manage IVs, injections, and infusion therapy per protocol
- Monitor telemetry, assess rhythm disturbances, and respond to dysrhythmias in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
- Prepare patients for procedures, assist with resuscitation efforts, and support discharge planning and patient education

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts at time of submission
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications at submission
- TNCC certification required; PALS or ENPC preferred
- 2+ years of ER nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Must pass on-site ECG/Telemetry and medications testing on orientation day (pass/fail, 85% required, one attempt)
- Start date of 04/21/2026 is required to be eligible; candidates must be available for testing within 48 hours of confirmation and complete testing within 1 week
- No local travelers (must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location)
