Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel) in Los Angeles, California. This travel assignment is in a Home Healthcare - Hospice setting, starting May 11, 2026 for 13 weeks. Shift is 3x12-hour nights. Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room, including patient preparation and positioning.
- Maintain a sterile field and assist the surgical team with instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and communicate changes to the surgical team.
- Support anesthesia providers as needed and ensure proper functioning of monitoring equipment.
- Uphold safety, infection control, and fire/life safety standards throughout the intraoperative period.
- Complete accurate postoperative handoff documentation and collaborate with the postoperative care team.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety card
- Ability to work in an operating room environment and to cover a 3x12-hour night shift
- Willingness and ability to travel for a temporary assignment
