Travel Surgical Tech Job
Surgical Tech – Trauma specialty in Atlanta, GA. Start date May 18, 2026 for a 13-week travel temporary assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay range is 1,408–1,440 USD per week. Day shift, 10 hours per day, four days per week, with call, holidays, and weekends; no block scheduling. This travel assignment takes place in an inpatient surgical services setting.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and equipment and assist the surgical team with instrument handling during trauma procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and perform accurate counts of sponges, needles, and sharps before, during, and after procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon, anticipating needs during high-intensity cases
- Set up and break down the sterile field, assist with patient positioning and transfers as needed
- Maintain clear communication with the surgical team and support accurate intraoperative documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of strong Level 1 trauma experience; must be listed in work history as such with a strong rating on the skills checklist
- Ability to work a day shift schedule: 6:45 am–5:15 pm, with call, holidays, and weekends; no block scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced trauma environment and collaborate effectively with the surgical team
- Eligibility to participate in a travel assignment and meet onboarding requirements for assignment-specific credentialing
