Surgical Tech - OR CST | Atlanta, GA | Start 06/01/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,242-$1,289 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Day shift 645a–715p with call on weekends and holidays; no block scheduling | Travel assignment in a hospital setting
This assignment requires hands-on support in the operating room as part of a surgical team. Candidates with travel experience and demonstrated proficiency in trauma and complex intraoperative care are preferred. The role supports high-acuity cases in a Level 1-type trauma environment and may include burn cases when available.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the OR and assist the surgical team to maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
- Pass instruments, sponge counts, and maintain instrument integrity to support patient safety
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and assist with instrument setup, specimen handling, and equipment readiness
- Assist with turnover between cases, including cleaning, resetting rooms, and documenting supplies
- Support trauma and acute-care cases; respond to Level 1 trauma scenarios and assist as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the surgical team and post-anesthesia care staff
Requirements
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential; active or eligible
- Experience: Prior travel healthcare assignment experience required
- Specialty experience: Level 1 Trauma OR experience with high proficiency in intraoperative skills; burn experience preferred
- Education: Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program
- Availability: Willingness to work a day shift with call on weekends and holidays; able to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
