Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care in Morrisville, Vermont. This travel temporary assignment begins 04/20/2026 and runs for several weeks. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document vital signs, and report changes promptly to the supervising RN or physician.
- Develop and modify nursing care plans in collaboration with the care team; implement care accordingly.
- Perform routine assessments, wound care, dressing changes, and basic activities of daily living assistance.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, pharmacists, and other disciplines to coordinate patient care and respond to changes in condition.
- Participate in rounds and care conferences; contribute to updates to care plans and discharge planning as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing; Vermont license or eligibility to practice in Vermont.
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited LPN program.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Ability to work day or evening shifts; 40 hours per week guaranteed.
- Proficient in routine nursing procedures and documentation; strong communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening as per travel policy; ability to work in a fast-paced LTC environment.
